No One Like Our God

I have good news. There is no one like our God. He alone deserves all honor and glory and praise. Psalm 89 is overflowing with his praiseworthy attributes and mighty deeds. It sings of his steadfast love, faithfulness, might, righteousness, justice, power and sovereignty. The list goes on and on! Everything about God is deserving of our praise and thanksgiving. 2 Samuel tells us that GOD gave victory to David. GOD is the one behind every victory, not just David’s. God promised to establish the throne of David’s kingdom forever. Even though David would sin against the Lord, God was faithful and would not violate his covenant. God sent his Son as a fulfillment of the covenant made to David. By his perfect life, death and resurrection, Jesus will reign forever and ever.
