You Are

August 30th, 2026

I have good news. In all the world, throughout all time, there has never been and never will be anyone like our God. No one and nothing compares to Him. King Hezekiah believed this and called out to God in faith. An enemy was encamped around them, but King Hezekiah knew that the God of all creation could handle it. He asked God to reveal his power and deliver his people in a way that all the nations would know that He is God alone. And God did it. Isaiah goes on to record some of the amazing attributes of God:

His Word stands forever (40:8)
No one compares to Him (40:18)
He is everlasting (40:28)
He is the first and last (41:4)
He is our help (41:14)
He is our savior (43:3,11)
Rejoice in our God, for He is God alone!

God describes himself as the one who blots out our transgressions. He sent his Son Jesus to do just that. He alone is God! That is good news.
