Bible Plan Readings - Week 10

START IT.

  • Since most people wear socks and shoes, what could compare to biblical foot washing in 2023? What makes foot washing so humbling and yet so honoring?

 SHARE IT.

  • From Sunday's message in John 13 or the Meet Jesus Bible Reading Plan this week, what impacted you the most? Was there a word, phrase, or Bible verse that impacted you? Hint: What did you highlight

  • Why do you think John told us that Satan already had prompted Judas Iscariot to betray Jesus (v2)?

  • What did Jesus do in verses 4-5? Why was this surprising? What made this "shocking"?

  • What's the lesson Jesus teaches the disciples in verses 13-15? Why does John highlight this part of the Lord's Supper instead of the meaning of the bread and cup like Matthew, Mark, and Luke?

  • What words are used to describe the suffering servant in Isaiah 53? How does Jesus fulfill this chapter?

 SHOW IT.

  • What example does Jesus set for us to follow? What do you enjoy most about serving others?

  • Have you taken the lowest position to serve someone in the last month? If so, when? If not, why not?

  • Who would be "shocked" to be served by you? How can you serve them before next Sunday?

FINAL THOUGHT

  • What about Jesus' example blesses you and inspires you more than anything else? Worship him.
