Sunday's Message Text:
Bible Plan Readings - Week 17
START IT.
Have you ever heard of "Christian Atheism"? It's the idea of believing in God but living as if he doesn't exist. Do you see that around?
SHARE IT.
From Sunday's message in 1 Corinthians 15, or the Meet Jesus Bible Reading Plan this week, what is impacting you the most? Was there a word, phrase, Bible verse, or theme that impacted you? Hint: What did you highlight
In John 11:25-26, how does Jesus describe himself? Why does he use the phrase "and the life"?
From 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, what is the gospel? Why does the author include the words "first importance"? Do you agree this comes first in the life of a Christian?
From 1 Corinthians 15:12-19, what are some effects if Christ has not been raised from the dead? Which one bothers you the most?
From 1 Corinthians 15:58, how are we suppose to live now?
SHOW IT.
How has the resurrection of the dead changed your life? Do you believe it and live it?
When you feel hopeless, how does the resurrection of Jesus/of the dead encourage you?
Which is easiest for you: being steadfast, being immovable, or abounding in the work of the LORD? Which is the most challenging?
How can you keep the most important thing (the gospel) the most important thing this coming week?
FINAL THOUGHT
Reflect on this: what part of 1 Corinthians 15 do people see in me? What can you share with someone this week?
