Bible Plan Readings - Week 31

START IT.

  • From Sunday's message in Matthew 7, or the Meet Jesus Bible Reading Plan this week, what is impacting you the most? Was there a word, phrase, Bible verse, or theme that impacted you? Hint: What did you highlight

  • At the end of his message in Matthew 7:13, what does Jesus say to do?

  • From Matthew 7:13-27, what 3 pictures does Jesus share to help people make the decision? How do these 3 pictures show contrast?

  • Who does Jesus say to watch out for? Why would he say that?

  • What is the conclusion in verses 21-23? What is the difference revealed in verses 24-27?

  • From verse 28-29, how do people see Jesus after he teaches?

  • Have you decided to enter the Kingdom of God? Has it been easy or hard? What motivates you to be part of the Kingdom?

  • Do you believe decisions lead to disciples? How has your faith led to follow through?

  • How can you recognize someone as a follower of Jesus? (see verses 16-20)

  • How do the "storms" of life reveal who someone is?

FINAL THOUGHT

  • Have you ever watched a baseball game and seen a "walk off" win, like a homerun or grand slam (a winning hit to end the game)? What decision has to be made by the hitter before they swing the bat?
